Some people can any type of junk and make something beautiful out of it.
Such is the case here, where some artists had the brilliant idea of using used car tires to create wonderful works of art. I’m really impressed with that black armor, but the others don’t look half bad either. This should be a lesson to all of us, just because something looks used doesn’t make it useless.

The Cadillac Ranch was created in 1974, in Amarillo, Texas by members of an art group called Ant Farm. It’s made up by 10 old Cadillac models dating from 1949 to 1963 and it means to symbolize a number of evolutions of the car line. All theten Cadillacs are tilted towards the west, at an angle corresponding to that of thePyramids at Gyza.

The Big Rig Jig is an art masterpiece conceived and designed by famous artistMike Ross and it was put together from two repurposed 18-wheel tanker trucks. As you can imagine it took an entire team of people and machinery to build The Big Rig Jig and set it in place. It was featured at The Burning Man Festival in 2007.
“The Sculpture imitates the natural landscape of the adjacent London Plane Trees, while the changing pattern of the lights reveals and reflect the never ending rhythm of the surrounding domestic, financial and commercial activities” This is how artist Pierre Vivant described his work of art, when he completed it in 1998.
The Traffic Light Tree can be found on the traffic control roundabout, at the junctions of Heron Quay Bank, Marsh Wall and Wesferry Road.

Young Canadian designer Jason Battersby definitely doesn’t like conventional bicycles, so he decided to build two of them by his own taste. That’s how the incredibly cool-looking Tequila Sunrise and Eye Candy were born.

With Father’s Day approaching, a cake-shop from Suzhou, China, has come up with a line of special cakes, to boost business. This blue Mercedes cake is just one of the many cool Father’s Day presents that can be found in the markets of Suzhou.
It may not be as cool-looking as the life-size Gundam robot in Tokyo, but, for a home-made statue, this real-life Bumblebee Transformer is pretty awesome.
A big Transformers fan from Lemoore, California, Tom Rhoads decided to build aBumblebee replica right in his front yard. He started working on the 18-foot-tall statue right after his son was born. Seeing these are financially-troubled times, Tom created the life-size Transformer out of an old Volkswagen Beetle, instead of a brand new Camaro, like in the movie.
Rhoads and a friend worked on this Bumblebee statue for an entire year, then lifted it into position using a crane and reinforced its legs so it wouldn’t fall down.
