Balloon-made costumes

Just to show you that imagination is enough to accomplish great things, we bring you these photos of lovely costumes made from inflated balloons. Even if they can’t make you float, I’m sure they make you feel a lot lighter, I know I’d like to have one.

Who says soap can only be used for cleansing?

As you can see it makes for great material when you have an artistic sense. Some of you may not be impressed by all these pieces, but I for one never looked at soap as anything but something to help me get squeaky clean, so I’m genuinely impressed to see art in something so common.

I wonder how much one of these babies costs and if anyone really uses them when they bathe? I doubt it.

Awesome Optimus-Prime Ring

If you’re into Transformers and jewelry, you’re going to love this custom madeOptimus Prime Ring.

Artist Dans-Magic, from Deviant Art, spent 50 hours working on this one of a kind 14k piece of jewelry. He had originally carved the triangle eye sockets, but the client wanted rubies, so he had to comply. Dans-Magic also created an Optimus Prime pendant that you can see in the photo at the bottom.

A young, inspiring fashion designer created her prom dress using nothing else but coffee filters.

18-year-old Aimee Kick, from Missouri spent an entire month making her own prom dress out of coffee filters. Apparently Aimee spends a lot of her free time in local coffee shops and is known as “the girl with a coffee cup” so I guess she wanted to create an appropriate theme dress for her prom at Francis Howell North High School.

Fairytale Jewelry by Alidra Alic

In her new jewelry collection, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, Alidra Alicshowcases some of the weirdest rings I’ve ever seen.

But I mean that in the most positive way possible, the rings look very original, and even though you couldn’t wear on a day-to-day basis, Alidra Alic’s rings are perfect for a fantasy-themed party.
